Two Youths Charged After Stabbing on West Side

Two youths have been arrested following a stabbing on the city's west side. Windsor police responded Tuesday just after 11 a.m. to a report of a stabbing in the area of Huron Church Road and Tecumseh Road West.

Incident Details

Police said a group of youths had arranged to meet for a fight when one of the suspects allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed an 18-year-old man. The victim was transported to hospital with what police called non-life-threatening injuries.

Arrests and Charges

Officers identified two suspects who were arrested. Both suspects are youths and cannot be identified under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. They have each been charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
