Edmonton police are asking the public for help in identifying both the driver and the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run collision with a pedestrian that occurred in late April.

Incident Details

Police responded at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, to a report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle in the area of Whyte Avenue and 100 Street, according to an EPS news release issued Thursday. The vehicle fled the scene and was last seen heading west on Whyte Avenue.

The pedestrian, a 28-year-old man, was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigation and Appeal

The EPS Major Collision Investigations Section (MCIS) is investigating the hit-and-run and has released a photo of the suspect vehicle. They are urging anyone who witnessed the collision, has dash cam footage, or has information about the vehicle or driver to contact EPS at 780-423-4567.
