Cambridge Man and Teen Charged in Kitchener Home Invasion

A Cambridge man and a 17-year-old teen have been charged in connection with a home invasion in Kitchener, according to Waterloo Regional Police. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening in the area of Fischer-Hallman Road and Highland Road West.

Police responded to reports of a break-in at a residential property around 8:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found evidence of forced entry and items stolen from the home. The suspects were located a short time later and taken into custody without incident.

The adult suspect, a 22-year-old Cambridge man, has been charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property, and mischief. The teen, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, faces similar charges. Both were held for a bail hearing.

No injuries were reported during the incident. Police are continuing to investigate and ask anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
