Beeton Man Dies in Tree Collision Near Shawanaga

A 47-year-old man from Beeton, Ontario, has died following a single-vehicle collision with a tree near Shawanaga First Nation.

Ontario Provincial Police responded to the crash on Highway 69, just south of the Shawanaga First Nation community, on Tuesday afternoon.

According to police, the driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation. Officers are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage to contact the OPP.

The victim's identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
