Piers Morgan Unleashes on Mark Levin
Piers Morgan delivered a scathing 5-minute monologue targeting Fox News host Mark Levin on Thursday, branding him a 'colossal hypocrite' who is 'wrong about pretty much everything.' The British journalist did not hold back, describing Levin as a 'little-known American broadcaster with a Sunday night graveyard slot on cable news.'
Morgan claimed that very few people watched Levin before the Iran war began, and that he first noticed Levin due to his 'extraordinary social media outbursts' directed at Morgan's interview subjects. The feud traces back to an interview where Morgan and Megyn Kelly criticized Levin's support for President Donald Trump's military actions in the Middle East. Levin retaliated on Tuesday by calling Morgan a 'vile as*hole.'
Morgan responded to the insult by sarcastically acknowledging Levin's expertise on the matter, stating, 'Mark Levin, of all people, is a world expert in vile assholes.' He also highlighted the unpopularity of Trump's war among far-right influencers, noting that Levin has positioned himself as 'the president's Sunday night armchair attack dog.'
Morgan accused Levin of hypocrisy, pointing out that Levin condemns comparisons to Hitler and Nazis but uses similar tactics of cancellation and censorship against war critics. 'Mark Levin is a big advocate for free speech so long as you agree with him,' Morgan said.
Levin fired back on social media, calling Morgan a 'WASHED UP PODCASTER CLOWN' who is 'ridiculed in his home country' and has 'nothing to show for his decades of insults, blather, and self-aggrandizement.' The exchange underscores the deepening rift between media personalities over Trump's policies.
