Toronto Police say a fire and explosion overnight Wednesday at a midtown restaurant is being investigated as a suspected arson.
Emergency Response
Police said emergency crews were called to the Eglinton Ave. W. and Bathurst St. area around 2:45 a.m. for a call for a fire and explosion at a restaurant. Cops were told there was "lots of smoke coming from the business."
Damage and Injuries
Two neighbouring businesses also were damaged in the blaze. No injuries were immediately reported.
