The incident occurred on May 31, 2026, when the teenage victim was approached by two individuals who bear-sprayed him. The suspect allegedly filmed the assault on a mobile device. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at the scene.

Surrey Police Service investigators are seeking public assistance to identify the suspects. The released photos show two individuals believed to be involved. Police urge anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers. No arrests have been made as of July 9, 2026.
