Richmond RCMP are investigating a possible kidnapping that occurred in a restaurant parking lot, authorities confirmed Saturday.

Police responded to reports of a disturbance in the parking lot of a local restaurant on Friday evening. Witnesses reported seeing an individual being forcibly placed into a vehicle before it fled the scene.
Officers arrived shortly after but were unable to locate the vehicle or the individuals involved. No injuries have been reported at this time.
