A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a three-vehicle crash in Montreal on Friday night, according to Montreal police. The collision occurred at around 9:30 p.m. on July 10, 2026, at the intersection of Rue Sherbrooke and Boulevard de l'Acadie in the Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie borough.

Details of the Crash

Police say a car, a truck, and a motorcycle were involved. The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The drivers of the other two vehicles were not injured. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.

“The circumstances of the collision are still unclear,” said Montreal police spokesperson Jean-Pierre Brabant. “We are interviewing witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage.”

Road Closure and Impact

The intersection was closed for several hours for the investigation, causing traffic delays in the area. It reopened early Saturday morning.

This crash adds to a recent string of serious accidents involving motorcycles in the Montreal area. According to the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ), there were 1,200 motorcycle collisions in Quebec in 2025, resulting in 45 fatalities.
