According to police, the collision took place at the intersection of Hurontario Street and Dundas Street East around 2:30 a.m. on May 2, 2026. A vehicle struck two pedestrians, leaving a 34-year-old woman with serious but non-life-threatening injuries and a 45-year-old man with life-threatening injuries. Both victims were transported to a local trauma centre for treatment.
