Montreal police (SPVM) are investigating after a body was found in a tent near the foot of the Jacques-Cartier Bridge on June 25, 2026. The discovery was made in the afternoon, and officers cordoned off the area to conduct their investigation.

The tent was located in a green space close to the bridge, an area known to be used by homeless individuals.
