Two pedestrians were hit by a vehicle on Rutherford Road in Vaughan on Tuesday evening, leading to the closure of westbound lanes as police investigate. The incident occurred just after 9 p.m. near the intersection of Rutherford Road and Highway 400, according to York Regional Police.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported both victims to a local hospital. Their conditions have not been released, but police confirmed they sustained injuries. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
