American YouTuber Faces 34 Years in Brazil for Child Exploitation
YouTuber arrested in Brazil for child sexual exploitation

An American YouTuber known for his provocative online persona is facing decades in a Brazilian prison after being arrested on serious charges of sexually exploiting minors. The arrest marks a dramatic fall for a content creator who once styled himself as a defender of civil liberties.

From 'Copwatch' to International Manhunt

Floyd Wallace Jr., 30, first gained a following on YouTube with his 'Omaha Copwatch' channel, where he filmed confrontations with police officers, amassing over 142,000 subscribers. However, his online activities took a dark and criminal turn. According to Brazilian authorities and international reports, Wallace reinvented himself as a self-described 'professional sex tourist' and 'passport bro,' traveling to countries like Colombia and Brazil in search of sexual encounters.

His journey ended on December 23, 2025, when officers from Brazil's Child and Adolescent Victims Division forced their way into his hotel room in São Paulo. Dramatic footage shows police pepper-spraying and handcuffing Wallace as he lay on the floor. A female officer informed him he was 'being arrested for child sexual exploitation by the police of Rio de Janeiro.'

The Investigation Triggered by an Alert Uber Driver

The case unraveled thanks to the vigilance of local Uber drivers. The investigation began on December 5 after a driver reported a suspicious ride requested by a foreigner using the alias 'Terry William' to transport two underage girls. The girls reportedly told the driver they did not know the man and were unsure of their destination.

An internal probe by Uber revealed the user had created multiple accounts to repeatedly order rides for minors, never appearing at pickup locations and issuing instructions remotely. On December 18, the same method was used to request transport for four more girls under 18 from an impoverished area of Rio, prompting another driver to alert authorities.

A Trove of Evidence and Serious Charges

Upon his arrest, police seized a significant cache of evidence, including:

  • Five USB drives and seven memory cards
  • A laptop and five mobile phones
  • Multiple SIM cards
  • A balaclava mask and soft toys
  • Watches fitted with hidden cameras

Police Chief Cristiano Maia stated that 'many victims' have been identified and that Wallace is suspected of similar offences in other countries. Authorities are also investigating whether his travels were financed by third parties in exchange for the production of explicit content.

Wallace now faces charges of rape of a vulnerable person and facilitating the sexual exploitation of minors. These charges carry a combined maximum prison sentence of 34 years, with the potential for longer terms if aggravating factors are confirmed during the investigation. Police moved to arrest him in São Paulo after suspecting he was preparing to flee the country.
