Windsor Police Service have escalated their investigation into a severe criminal episode by issuing an arrest warrant for Alexis-Regine Gibbs Rogers, a 29-year-old woman implicated in a violent armed robbery and kidnapping that transpired last Thursday. Authorities are actively pursuing her and three other unidentified suspects linked to the case.

Details of the Violent Incident

The event unfolded in the early hours of April 16, shortly before 1 a.m., at a residence located in the 2500 block of Lauzon Road. According to police reports, three masked individuals armed with firearms launched an attack on a man at the location. The suspects not only threatened the victim but also physically assaulted him, resulting in the theft of his personal items and money.

Following the robbery, the victim was forcibly confined within the home against his will. The assailants then attempted to coerce him into a vehicle, but he managed to break free and seek assistance from a nearby resident. One of the suspects fled the scene using the victim's vehicle, which was later recovered unoccupied by law enforcement.

Victim's Condition and Police Response

The victim sustained serious injuries during the altercation and was transported to a hospital for medical treatment. Fortunately, his injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening. Investigators from the Windsor Police Service's major crimes unit have since identified Gibbs Rogers as a key suspect in this violent episode.

Gibbs Rogers faces a multitude of charges, including robbery with an offensive weapon, pointing a firearm, possession of a firearm while prohibited, assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, forcible confinement, kidnapping, uttering death threats, theft of a motor vehicle with violence, and failing to comply with a release order.

Police have provided a detailed description of Gibbs Rogers: she is a black female with a light complexion, standing approximately five feet, seven inches tall, weighing 194 lbs., and possessing black curly hair and brown eyes.
