The incident unfolded on Sunday, January 18, at approximately 8:30 p.m. when officers responded to reports of a physical confrontation in the parking lot of a restaurant located at the intersection of Walker and Cabana roads.
According to police investigators, the altercation began as a road rage incident before escalating dramatically. The suspect reportedly approached the victim in the restaurant parking lot and proceeded to punch them multiple times before fleeing the scene northbound on Riberdy Road.

The victim sustained minor injuries during the assault and received medical treatment from Essex-Windsor EMS at the scene. Police have confirmed the individual did not require hospitalization.
