White Rock RCMP responded to a call for an injured person on the road shortly before 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 24, 2025. The incident occurred in the 15600-block of Cliff Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found a bystander performing CPR on the victim.
Despite the immediate life-saving efforts from both the bystander and emergency responders, the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries at the scene. Police quickly determined the individual had been struck by a vehicle that did not remain at the location.
