Details of the assault

According to police, officers responded to a report of an assault in the 300 block of Pritchard Avenue just before 11 p.m. Upon arrival, they found two women suffering from injuries consistent with being struck by baseball bats. Both victims were transported to hospital in stable condition, with non-life-threatening injuries.
