Toronto Police have launched a public appeal for information regarding a 58-year-old man wanted in connection with a series of thefts at healthcare facilities in the city's west end. The suspect, identified as Nigel Antoine of Toronto, is alleged to have stolen cash and credit cards from staff members between November 2025 and March 2026.
Details of the Healthcare Facility Thefts
According to police statements released on Thursday, officers responded to multiple reports of thefts in the area of Jane Street and Weston Road. It is alleged that Antoine entered healthcare facilities without authorization, accessing nursing stations and secured staff rooms. Police claim he removed cash and credit cards from employees' wallets and subsequently used the stolen cards to make unauthorized purchases.
Antoine is described as six feet tall with a medium build and a grey beard. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, a white baseball hat, white running shoes, and a gold chain around his neck. Authorities also report he was operating a red sedan. He faces charges including theft of a credit card, theft under $5,000, possessing or using a credit card obtained by an offence, and fraud under $5,000.

Separate Case: Rideshare Driver Charged with Sexual Assault
In an unrelated incident, Toronto Police have charged a 33-year-old man with sexual assault following an alleged attack on a passenger. The accused, Harsimranjot Dhillon of Caledon, was working as a rideshare driver in downtown Toronto when the incident occurred on February 24, 2026.
Police responded to a call in the area of Bloor Street West and Queen's Park. It is alleged that Dhillon picked up a 21-year-old male victim and made a sexual comment during the drive. He then stopped the car, entered the back seat, and sexually assaulted the victim before leaving him on the sidewalk and driving away in his vehicle.
