Three Women Wanted for Toronto Concert Assault, Theft

Toronto Police have issued a public appeal for information as they work to identify three female suspects connected to an assault and cellphone theft that targeted a concertgoer in the city's downtown core.

Concertgoer Assaulted in Downtown Cellphone Theft

The incident occurred on October 26, 2025, around 8 p.m., in the area of Bay and Front Streets. According to police reports, one of the suspects allegedly approached the victim at a concert and stole their cellphone. The victim was also assaulted during the encounter.

Authorities have confirmed that the victim and the suspects are not known to each other. Police have released images of the three women, who are described as being between 25 and 30 years old. At the time of the incident, they were wearing leggings and athletic tops.

Series of Commercial Break-Ins Under Investigation

In a separate commercial crime spree, Toronto Police are investigating a trio of thieves who allegedly targeted a Scarborough business on two separate occasions. The break-ins took place between November 20 and November 22, 2025.

Officers responded to a call in the Bermondsey Road and Eglinton Avenue area on Saturday, November 22, around 10:50 a.m. The suspects are alleged to have used a minivan to load stolen items from a commercial address. The suspect vehicle is described as a dark blue or black van, missing its front license plate and with damage to the driver's side.

Major Stolen Property Ring Dismantled

In a significant development for the police service, investigators have laid more than 90 charges against two suspects following a break-and-enter investigation that began on October 7, 2025.

Police linked a series of commercial break-and-enters to a small crime group. On November 14, investigators identified the suspects in a stolen vehicle. When officers intervened, the suspects allegedly attempted to flee on foot but were taken into custody.

The subsequent investigation led to the recovery of a substantial amount of stolen property, including:

  • Two pick-up trucks
  • An RV trailer
  • Designer sunglasses
  • Contracting tools
  • Beauty supplies and vapes
  • Jewelry and cell phones

Charles Duguay, 52, of Alexandria, Ontario, faces a slew of charges, including nine counts of failing to comply with probation. Michelle Elida Wright, 39, of Mississauga, faces numerous charges, including 12 counts of failing to comply with a release order and nine counts of failing to comply with probation.

Other GTA Crime Reports

In a related York Regional Police matter, thugs threatened an employee with a sword during a cannabis store robbery in Aurora. The incident occurred on Friday, November 21, around 11 p.m., in the area of Bayview Avenue and Hollidge Boulevard.

Police allege four suspects entered the pot shop, threatened an employee with a sword, and made off with cannabis products. The suspects are described as males wearing dark clothing.

Separately, a Toronto woman faces several charges after allegedly fleeing from a police patrol car in Oshawa. The incident began on Friday, November 21, around 12:40 a.m., when an officer initiated a traffic stop in the area of King Street and Thornton Road.

The vehicle failed to stop, leading to a brief pursuit that was abandoned when the vehicle began speeding. The vehicle was later found abandoned off the roadway near Park Road and Hillside Avenue after colliding with a boulder.

Kathleen Mary Laffan, 39, of Toronto, was located by police and taken to hospital with minor injuries. She faces charges including failing to stop for police, dangerous operation of a conveyance, and obstructing a peace officer.
