Montreal police were called to the scene on de Lille Street near Champdoré Street at approximately 5:45 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2025. Officers discovered a 50-year-old man suffering from stab wounds to his upper body. Preliminary information from investigators indicates the meeting was arranged for the sale of a mobile device but quickly escalated into violence.
Suspect Located and Arrested
Roughly 30 minutes after the initial call, police located a suspect on St-Michel Boulevard near Jarry Street. The individual, identified as a 15-year-old boy, was also found with stab wounds to his upper body. Following questioning by investigators, the youth was placed under arrest.
