Peel Regional Police have arrested a 25-year-old man accused of murdering his own father in a shocking Brampton shooting incident that occurred over the weekend.
Saturday Afternoon Tragedy
According to homicide detectives, the violent incident unfolded on Saturday afternoon at approximately 3:15 p.m. at a residential property on Clearjoy Street, located in the Highway 410 and Bovaird Drive area of Brampton.
Officers responding to the scene discovered a man in his 50s suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical intervention from first responders, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Suspect Hunt and Arrest
Police quickly identified Nicholas Jaglal of Brampton as their primary suspect, issuing warrants for his arrest on charges of second-degree murder and attempted murder.
