The Maidstone detachment of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police is urgently appealing to the public for help in identifying three individuals connected to a brazen armed robbery at a rural Saskatchewan residence, where a large cache of firearms was stolen.
Details of the December 28th Incident
According to an RCMP release issued on Tuesday, the crime occurred on the evening of December 28, 2025, at roughly 9:00 p.m. The targeted property is located in the Rural Municipality of Eldon, situated northeast of Saskatoon.
Investigators report that three masked individuals arrived at the home in a light-coloured pickup truck, believed to be a Chevrolet or GMC Sierra model. When the homeowner came out to confront them, one suspect exited the vehicle brandishing a firearm.
Extensive Firearms Stolen, Suspects Flee
The trio then forcibly entered the home. Once inside, they proceeded to steal approximately 20 guns along with one crossbow. Fortunately, the resident did not sustain any physical injuries during the confrontation.
After completing the theft, the suspects fled the scene. They were last observed travelling west on Highway 16 in the direction of Lloydminster.
Suspect Descriptions and Public Appeal
Police have released detailed descriptions of the three suspects, who are all believed to be male:
- Suspect 1: Wearing a grey and black winter jacket, white gloves, black pants, and a ball cap with a patterned face covering.
- Suspect 2: Dressed in a black hoodie featuring a red logo, gloves, black-and-red high-top shoes, and a black balaclava.
- Suspect 3: Clad in a black zip-up hoodie, white gloves, dark jeans, and a grey face covering.
The RCMP are urging anyone with information about this incident, or who may recognize the described suspects or vehicle, to come forward immediately.
