Windsor police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a pickup truck captured on video surveillance during a significant theft at a local car dealership.
Surveillance Footage Released
The incident occurred in the early hours of January 4, 2026. According to investigators, at approximately 2:00 a.m., a pickup truck entered the parking lot of a business located in the 900 block of Provincial Road, near Division Road.
Security cameras recorded the vehicle proceeding to the rear of the building, where it parked beside a white Dodge Charger. Police allege that individuals exited the truck and proceeded to remove all four wheels from the Charger. The total value of the stolen property is estimated at $4,000.
Description of the Suspect Vehicle
Authorities have provided a detailed description of the truck they believe was used in the crime. The vehicle is a dark-coloured Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab. It has two distinctive identifying features: a missing front bumper and a missing left-side rail.
The Windsor Police Service has released the surveillance footage to the public in hopes that someone will recognize the unique truck.
