On Tuesday, a specialized task force led by the Sûreté du Québec executed a search warrant at a residence in Pointe-Claire, uncovering 18 kilograms of cocaine and $27,000 in cash. The operation involved 25 officers from both the SQ and Ontario's Provincial Guns and Gangs Enforcement Team (PGNG), demonstrating cross-provincial cooperation in combating organized criminal activity.
In addition to the drugs and currency, investigators confiscated two cellphones and a mechanized bill counter during searches of the residence and two associated vehicles. These items are expected to provide valuable evidence as the investigation progresses.

A 41-year-old man from Pointe-Claire was arrested while driving in Rivière-Beaudette, near the Ontario border. The arrest occurred as part of what the SQ describes as a continuation of raids conducted on March 17 targeting a drug trafficking network with alleged links to the Hells Angels motorcycle gang.
