Ontario Man Charged with Drug, Gun Offenses Linked to Biker Club

An Ontario man currently facing serious drug and gun charges appears to have connections to a resurgent motorcycle club based in Oshawa, according to recent reports and social media evidence.

Arrest and Seizure in Trent Lakes

Last week, Joshua Fawcett, a 39-year-old resident of Trent Lakes, was arrested by the Ontario Provincial Police following an extensive investigation. The operation resulted in the seizure of 53 long rifles, 278 grams of cocaine, and a significant amount of Canadian currency. Police executed a search warrant at a location on Bessie Avenue in Trent Lakes on April 8, 2026.

Fawcett now faces multiple charges, including three counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order, careless storage of firearms, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000. The OPP noted that the accused was suspected of possessing firearms despite being legally prohibited from doing so.

Social Media Links to Biker Club

Despite his legal troubles, evidence suggests Fawcett may be associated with the resurrected Satan's Choice motorcycle club. A Facebook account under his name features a photo showing a man wearing a shirt with the Satan's Choice patch while posing with the club's leader, Harley Guindon, during a trip to Bali, Indonesia, in January. The account tagged Guindon in the image.

In another post from April 7, Fawcett expressed strong support for Guindon, stating, "I'm proud to say Harley Guindon is one of my brothers. I believe in him. I believe in this. It's real! There's no one I'd rather have standing beside me, in front of me or behind me." This post was in response to a video from Guindon thanking followers for the club's growth.

Revival of Satan's Choice

Satan's Choice, originally founded by Bernie Guindon in 1965 in Oshawa, merged with the Hells Angels in 2000. However, last summer, Harley Guindon announced he was relaunching the club with his father's permission, declaring "The Choice is back" on social media in August 2025. Guindon, who also operates a clothing business called Harley G's in Oshawa, has indicated personal conflicts with some Hells Angels members but denies being at war with the organization.

Despite his claims, his store has experienced violence recently. In early February, shots were fired at the shop, shattering windows, and a week later, two 16-year-olds were arrested for attempting to ignite an incendiary device at the location.

Ongoing Investigation and Community Impact

The OPP continues its investigation into Fawcett's activities, and attempts to contact him via his Facebook account for confirmation went unanswered. The case highlights ongoing concerns about organized crime and illegal firearms in Ontario communities.

This incident follows other recent police actions against alleged biker club activities in the region, underscoring the challenges law enforcement faces in combating such networks.
