LaSalle Police Issue Public Appeal to Identify Robbery Suspects
The LaSalle Police Service has launched a public appeal for assistance in identifying two individuals suspected of involvement in a robbery incident that occurred earlier this year. Authorities are urging community members to come forward with any information that could help locate these suspects.
Incident Details and Suspect Descriptions
According to police reports, officers responded to a business located in the 5800 block of Malden Road on February 25, 2024, following an altercation between three individuals. The incident stemmed from an online purchase transaction that turned confrontational when one party discovered the merchandise was counterfeit.
Police have provided detailed descriptions of the two suspects:
- Suspect One: A 20-year-old male of Middle Eastern descent with a slim build and moustache. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black slide sandals.
- Suspect Two: Another 20-year-old male of Middle Eastern descent with a slim build and goatee. He was wearing a distinctive pink hooded sweatshirt, grey jogging pants, and white running shoes.
Police Investigation and Public Appeal
LaSalle police have released surveillance images captured during the incident and are actively seeking information from the public. The investigation revealed that when the counterfeit nature of the merchandise was discovered, a brief physical struggle ensued between the parties involved.
