Five Lethbridge Residents Face First-Degree Murder Charges in Fatal Incident
In a significant development, the Lethbridge Police Service has announced that five local residents have been charged with the first-degree murder of a 27-year-old man, following an investigation into a tragic incident that occurred last month. The charges stem from an assault report that led to the discovery of the victim in an apartment complex.
Discovery of the Victim and Initial Response
On March 27, at approximately 6:30 a.m., police and emergency medical services responded to a report of an assault at an apartment located along the 200 block of 7 A Avenue South in Lethbridge. Upon arrival, they found an unresponsive male inside the residence. The individual, identified as a 27-year-old Lethbridge man, was later pronounced dead at the scene, marking the start of a thorough police investigation.
Details of the Alleged Attack
According to a news release issued by Lethbridge police on Thursday, the victim was inside the apartment with a 22-year-old woman during the early morning hours of March 27. In the hours leading up to his death, multiple individuals visited the residence, where the man was reportedly forcibly confined, assaulted, and choked, ultimately succumbing to his injuries. Police allege that evidence indicates the attack was planned and targeted, with all five suspects actively participating in the murder.
Arrests and Charges
The investigation led to a series of arrests over several days:
- On March 28, two men, aged 43 and 27, were arrested without incident.
- Two days later, on March 30, a 42-year-old man was taken into custody.
- On April 2, police arrested a 40-year-old man.
- On April 8, a 22-year-old woman turned herself in to authorities.
The charged individuals have been identified as:

- Jordan Frank North Peigan, 27
- Nicholas Rodney Scout, 42
- Bradley Stephen Paskiuski, 40
- Emma Ryann Scott, 22
Each faces one count of first-degree murder and is currently remanded into custody. Court appearances have been scheduled, with Paskiuski set to appear on Thursday, Scott on Friday, Medicine Crane and Scout on April 30, and North Peigan on May 1.
