Jaswindra Nath, 37, was arrested and faces multiple charges, including child luring, sexual interference, and invitation to sexual touching. The RCMP began their investigation after receiving a complaint in October 2025. Police allege that Nath communicated with a minor online and engaged in sexual acts.

Court proceedings

Nath appeared in court on May 24, 2026, and was released on conditions. He is scheduled to return to court on June 15, 2026. The RCMP have not released additional details to protect the identity of the victim.
