A 17-year-old boy has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder after a woman and her two daughters were found dead in Brockville, Ontario, on Thursday. Police are calling the incident a triple murder.

Insp. Darryl Boyd confirmed that the victims are a mother in her mid-40s and her two daughters, who were in their mid-teens to early 20s. The accused and the victims were known to one another, but they are not related. Boyd emphasized that this was not a random incident.
Police Response and Arrest
Officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, reporting the deaths of three individuals at a residence on Cartier Court. Upon arrival, police found three deceased individuals inside the residence. Based on evidence at the scene, the deaths were deemed suspicious.
Further investigation led officers to an address on Old Red Road on the outskirts of Brockville, where a heavy police presence was reported. There, they located the 17-year-old suspect and arrested him. Boyd confirmed that there was some resistance during the arrest. The suspect has also been charged with assaulting a police officer.
