Brampton Man Charged with Indecent Act Involving Child

Peel Regional Police have charged a 40-year-old Brampton man in connection with an indecent act involving a child at a recreational facility. The incident occurred on April 26, 2026, around 3:15 p.m. at a facility in the Dixie Road and Balmoral Drive area.

According to police, a child was using a changeroom when an unknown male approached them, attempting to communicate and lure them into a stall. The child immediately fled and returned to their parent. Shortly after, the same suspect was allegedly seen outside the facility exposing himself.

Patrick Rabideau-Blackadder, 40, of Brampton, has been charged with invitation to sexual touching, criminal harassment, mischief, and committing an indecent act. Authorities are appealing for any other potential victims to come forward.

Midland Man Charged with Online Child Luring

In a separate case, Peel police have charged Stanley Marion, 35, of Midland, Ontario, with three counts of child luring. The investigation began in February after reports that an individual was using social media to lure youths under 16 for sexual purposes.

The suspect allegedly operated multiple accounts under the personas Maverick, Yxaikir, Ace.wilde, AceryZero, and MaveryZero. Marion was arrested on March 16 and charged with two counts of luring a child under 16 and one count of luring a child under 18. Investigators believe there may be additional victims and are urging anyone with information to contact police.

Toronto Police Seek Suspect in Downtown Sexual Assault

Toronto Police are asking for public help to identify a suspect in a sexual assault that occurred on May 5, 2026, around 5:37 p.m. in the Yonge and College Streets area. The victim was inside a retail store when the suspect approached and allegedly sexually assaulted them before fleeing.

The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5-foot-8 with short brown hair, wearing sunglasses, a blue sweater with grey sleeves, grey shorts, black and white shoes, a black T-shirt with a Creemore Springs Brewery logo, and carrying a black backpack. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.

York Regional Police Bust Illicit Cannabis Distribution Network

York Regional Police have charged two family members in connection with an illegal online cannabis distribution network. On Monday, police learned that youths had accessed an illicit cannabis website and at least two became ill after consuming products.

Investigators found the website advertising cannabis in packaging that violated the Cannabis Act, operating without a license, and failing to verify customer ages. On Wednesday, search warrants were executed in Vaughan and Brampton, and a vehicle used for distribution was seized. Artin Dawood, 30, of Vaughan, faces charges including possession for distribution, distributing illicit cannabis, dangerous driving, and stunt driving. Talia Dawood, 59, of Brampton, is charged with possession for the purpose of distribution.
