Pride Flag Stolen from Norwich School in Second Incident This Month

Authorities in Oxford County are investigating after a Pride flag was stolen and the flagpole cut down at a school in Norwich. This marks the second incident of its kind in the area this month, raising concerns among community members and school officials.

Randi Crawford of the Oxford OPP and local resident Jeff spoke to CTV’s Reta Ismail about the incident. The theft occurred at a school in Norwich County, where the flag was taken and the flagpole was deliberately damaged.

This incident follows a similar event earlier in June, where a Pride flag was also stolen from a nearby location. The repeated targeting of Pride symbols has prompted discussions about inclusivity and safety in the community.
