Saskatchewan RCMP are investigating a robbery and truck theft that occurred near Canora, according to a news release issued July 8, 2026. The suspect is still at large.
Incident Details
The robbery took place on July 7, 2026, at a residence in the Rural Municipality of Buchanan, approximately 10 kilometers west of Canora. Police say the suspect stole a white 2012 Ford F-350 pickup truck and used bear spray during the incident.
The victim, a 55-year-old man, was not physically injured but was treated for exposure to bear spray. The suspect fled the scene in the stolen truck.
Suspect Description
RCMP describe the suspect as a male, approximately 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans. The stolen truck has Saskatchewan license plate 123 ABC.
Police are urging anyone with information to contact Canora RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
