The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been deployed to a residence in Mission following the discovery of a deceased woman on Sunday evening. Authorities were alerted to the scene after a 911 call reported an injured individual at a home located in the 3360-block of Dewdney Trunk Road.
Incident Details
Mission RCMP received a notification from paramedics at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Sunday. Upon arrival, officers located the woman's body inside the residence. Additionally, a man was found at the scene with injuries that were not considered life-threatening and was subsequently transported to a hospital for medical treatment.
Both the man and the woman were residents of the home, according to police reports. Preliminary evidence gathered at the scene indicates that criminal activity may have played a role in the woman's death, prompting the involvement of the IHIT.
