President Donald Trump and rapper Nicki Minaj continued their unlikely alliance on Monday as Trump hosted Minaj at a White House Rose Garden Club luncheon. During the event, Trump lavished praise on the artist, calling her 'so respected and so hot and so great.'
'We also have a woman that is so respected and so hot and so great and such a great friend of — I don't say conservative, I say of common sense,' Trump said. 'She's a fantastic person, and she's a woman that's respected by everybody, and she's got real talent: Nicki Minaj.'
Trump's Repeated Use of 'Hot'
Trump, who frequently comments on appearances, has a history of using the word 'hot' to describe popularity or success. He has often referred to the United States as the 'hottest country anywhere in the world.' During his over-30-minute remarks, Trump circled back to Minaj while discussing the Small Business Administration.
'They call it small business, Nicki, but when you add it up, it's bigger than any bank probably in the world, right?' Trump said after calling the rapper 'so incredible.'
Minaj's White House Visit
Minaj documented her visit on X, using her '#WhiteHouseBarbie' tag. She shared a clip showing off her nails and pink dress, as well as a photo of herself posing with Trump in the Oval Office. Minaj, who has declared herself Trump's 'No. 1 fan,' previously praised the president at Turning Point USA's annual convention.
Speaking with Erika Kirk at the event, Minaj called Trump 'handsome' and 'dashing,' describing him as a good 'role model.' In November 2025, she thanked Trump on X for speaking out about the persecution of Christians in Nigeria after he labeled the violence an 'existential threat.'
