Windsor police are searching for three suspects following two violent incidents that occurred on Wednesday. In the first incident, a boy was threatened with a knife in the 700 block of Wyandotte Street East around 3:30 p.m. The suspect fled on foot. Later, two teenagers were pepper sprayed near the intersection of Tecumseh Road East and Pillette Road. The suspects in both cases are described as males in their late teens to early 20s. Police believe the incidents may be connected and urge anyone with information to contact them.
Details of the Incidents
The first attack happened when a male suspect approached the boy, brandished a knife, and made threats before fleeing. The victim was not physically injured. In the second incident, two teens were walking when they were approached by two suspects who sprayed them with pepper spray. The suspects then ran away. The teens were treated at the scene by paramedics.
Police Investigation
Windsor police are reviewing surveillance footage and speaking with witnesses. They have not released detailed descriptions of the suspects but say they are all believed to be between 16 and 22 years old. Anyone with information is asked to call Windsor police or Crime Stoppers.
