Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) seized firearms, drugs, and cash valued at more than $145,000 during a two-day search warrant execution at a residence in Harrow, Ontario. The operation took place on May 20 and 21, 2026, on Erie View Avenue.

Specialized Units Involved

Members of the Essex County OPP community street crime unit, along with the urban search and rescue unit, carried out the search. They were assisted by several specialized teams, including the emergency response team, canine unit, and the OPP's chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive (CBRNE) response team.

Advanced Technology Used

The Canada Border Services Agency provided a backscatter handheld X-ray machine to aid officers in locating concealed items.

Items Seized

Police recovered stolen property including five firearms, ammunition, a quantity of suspected drugs, and a significant amount of cash. The total estimated value of the seized items exceeds $145,000.

Investigation Ongoing

No arrests were made during the search. Officials stated that the investigation is ongoing and possible charges may be laid in the future.
