Ontario Provincial Police are investigating an incident in the Town of Essex that prompted an increased police presence early Monday morning. Officers were called to a residence on Murdoch Street in Harrow at around 4 a.m. on June 8.

On Monday morning, officers had cordoned off a home on Murdoch Street. A vehicle in the driveway was observed with what appeared to be blood on its rear fender. Several officers could be seen canvassing nearby streets, and a forensics unit van was also parked in the area.
