Calgary Overnight Shootings Leave Three Men in Serious Condition

Calgary police are investigating two overnight shootings that left three male victims with serious injuries. The incidents occurred in the Beltline and East Village neighborhoods early Saturday morning.

First Shooting in Beltline

Shortly after midnight, officers responded to a shooting in the 1300 block of 14th Avenue S.W., according to a police statement. Upon arrival, they found two male victims who had been shot. Both were transported to hospital in serious condition.

Second Shooting in East Village

Then, shortly after 3 a.m., police were called to a shooting in the 400 block of 5th Avenue S.E. Officers located one male victim with gunshot injuries, who was also taken to hospital in serious condition.
