The career fair will take place on Saturday, June 1, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Calgary Fire Department Training Academy. Attendees will have the chance to speak with current emergency services personnel, learn about training requirements, and explore job openings. The event is free and open to the public.

Participants can engage in hands-on demonstrations, including simulated emergency scenarios, and gain insights into the daily responsibilities of first responders. Recruiters from the Calgary Police Service, Calgary Fire Department, and Alberta Health Services will be on-site to answer questions and provide application guidance.
“This is an excellent opportunity for Calgarians to explore rewarding careers that make a difference in our community,” said a city spokesperson. “We encourage anyone with a passion for helping others to attend.”
The career fair comes as Calgary continues to expand its emergency services to meet the needs of a growing population. Interested individuals are advised to bring resumes and dress professionally.
