Acting AG Blanche Claims 2020 Election Rigged Without Evidence
Blanche: 2020 Election Rigged, No Proof Provided

In a recent interview on Fox News, Acting U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche made unsubstantiated claims that the 2020 presidential election was rigged against President Donald Trump. Speaking with host Maria Bartiromo on "Sunday Morning Futures," Blanche asserted there is a "ton of evidence" supporting the allegation but failed to provide any concrete proof.

Blanche's Claims and Lack of Evidence

Despite alleging that evidence has existed for "many, many years," Blanche could not explain why the Department of Justice (DOJ) has not released it to the public. He mentioned ongoing investigations in Arizona and Fulton County, Georgia, stating, "We have multiple investigations going on... that's exactly what we're looking at." Blanche criticized the Democratic party, suggesting they are "very good at hiding misconduct," and emphasized the DOJ's focus on verifying voter eligibility and ensuring one vote per person.

Context of the Interview

Blanche's remarks followed a clip of White House chief of staff Susan Wiles claiming at a May 7 event that Trump actually won many states he lost to President Joe Biden in 2020. When questioned about the delay in disclosing evidence and making arrests, Blanche admitted that arrests are not certain, stating, "It takes a lot of work to uncover what happened in 2020... old-fashioned law enforcement work." He assured the public that once the DOJ has something to report, whether charges, a report, or investigation results, the American people will be informed.

No Guarantee of Definitive Answer

Pressed by Bartiromo on whether there will be a definitive answer about the election being stolen, Blanche dodged, replying, "I'm not going to promise there's going to be a definitive answer... but we are looking at it, and we're hoping to get one."
