Stratford police have laid drug trafficking charges after a months-long investigation that resulted in the seizure of nearly $40,000 in controlled substances, according to the Stratford Police Service.

The investigation, which spanned several months, culminated in the seizure of a variety of drugs valued at approximately $40,000. Police did not specify the exact types of substances recovered but described them as controlled substances under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

“This was a complex investigation that required significant resources and coordination,” said a spokesperson for the Stratford Police Service in a statement. “We are committed to disrupting the illegal drug trade in our community and holding those responsible accountable.”

Charges laid
