A 27-year-old Kitchener man has been charged with human trafficking and related offences following an eight-month investigation by the Waterloo Regional Police Service.
Tyson Vanderpool, a resident of Kitchener, Ontario, faces multiple charges including human trafficking, sexual assault, and forcible confinement. The investigation, which began in September 2025, culminated in Vanderpool's arrest earlier this week.
