Global Adds NCIS: New York, Cupertino, Eternally Yours, Einstein for 2026

Global Television has unveiled its 2026/27 broadcast season lineup, featuring four new U.S. acquisitions and two original Canadian productions. The new slate joins a robust returning roster that includes 13 of the top 20 most-watched series this spring, according to the network. The fall 2026 schedule will offer 16.5 hours of premium simulcast programming, available for streaming on STACKTV and the Global TV App.

New U.S. Acquisitions Highlight the Slate

Leading the new acquisitions is NCIS: New York, starring LL COOL J as Special Agent Sam Hanna, a role he originated on NCIS: Los Angeles. Scott Caan, known for Hawaii Five-O, co-stars as a roguish special agent. The series follows Hanna as he returns to his hometown, New York City, and partners with Caan's character to tackle crime in the Big Apple.

From Emmy-nominated executive producers Robert and Michelle King comes Cupertino, a legal drama starring Mike Colter as a wronged lawyer. He teams up with a promising young attorney, played by Rachel Keller, to take on Silicon Valley giants in a David versus Goliath battle. The cast also includes Ella Stiller, Busy Phillips, Nik Dodani, and Renee Elise Goldsberry, with additional guest stars to be announced.

The new comedy Eternally Yours comes from the executive producers of Global's hit series Ghosts. It follows a vampire couple, played by Ed Weeks and Allegra Edwards, who have been married for 500 years and live in present-day Seattle with their oddball coven. The story explores their struggle to accept the human dating their daughter.

Mid-season, Global will introduce Einstein, a light-hearted drama starring Matthew Gray Gubler as the brilliant but directionless great-grandson of Albert Einstein. Forced to abandon his reckless lifestyle, he uses his genius to help a local police detective, played by Melissa Fumero, solve crimes.

Canadian Productions and Returning Favorites

Global Original Private Eyes West Coast, from Lionsgate Canada and Piller/Segan, stars Jason Priestley and Cindy Sampson and premieres in fall 2026. The network also announced TMS2, a new daily afternoon lifestyle program hosted by Morgan Hoffman, expanding The Morning Show brand.

Returning hits include Survivor, Ghosts, 9-1-1, and the new spring show CIA, all of which are among the top-rated series in their categories. Global boasts more top-20 hits than any other Canadian broadcaster.
