Toronto police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle on Eglinton Avenue West on May 31, 2026. Authorities have released a composite sketch of the victim in hopes that someone may recognize him.
Details of the Incident
The fatal collision occurred on the evening of May 31 in the area of Eglinton Avenue West and Black Creek Drive. The pedestrian was crossing the street when he was hit by a vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
Police Appeal for Information
Police have not yet been able to identify the victim, who is described as a man between the ages of 30 and 40. He was wearing a dark hoodie and jeans at the time of the incident. The composite sketch was created based on witness descriptions and evidence from the scene.
