RCMP Investigates Voyeurism at St. Albert Pool

Witnesses reported the individual's behavior to pool staff, who then contacted authorities. The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s with a slim build, wearing a dark swimsuit and sunglasses at the time of the incident.

Police Appeal for Public Assistance

Police have released a surveillance image of the man and are asking anyone with information to come forward. “We are urging anyone who was at the pool that day or who recognizes this individual to contact us,” said RCMP Cpl. Gina Slaney in a statement. The investigation is ongoing, and no charges have been laid yet.

Community Concerns

The incident has raised concerns among local residents about safety at public recreational facilities. The City of St. Albert has stated that it is cooperating fully with the RCMP investigation and has increased staff training on reporting suspicious behavior. The pool remains open for regular operations.
