Feederism: A Growing Concern
One of the strangest requests involved a fetish known as "feederism," where a person derives pleasure from watching someone else eat excessively, often to the point of discomfort. Jade explained in an interview with news.com.au that the requests started off relatively tame. A client offered her $500 to film herself eating a packet of Tim Tams, a popular Australian chocolate biscuit brand.
"After the first few videos, he began asking me to weigh myself before and after I eat, and would request I film myself sticking my belly out and jiggling it," she said. Initially, she went along with the requests, but over time, they became more concerning. The client began pushing for weight gain, which prompted Jade to step back.
"You get addicted to the money and attention, and then it becomes a matter of when do you stop?" she said, adding that she started questioning the client's intentions and where things might lead. Jade described it as a "dangerous game," especially for sex workers who may have a history of disordered eating.
Personal Struggles with Eating Disorders
Jade revealed that she struggled with anorexia in her younger years, making the situation even more complicated. She eventually decided to stop taking feeder-related requests, recognizing the potential harm to her own well-being.
The Mukbang Phenomenon
While eating on camera is not always tied to fetish content, it has become a lucrative industry online. The South Korean trend known as "mukbang," or "eating broadcast," has turned some creators into high earners. According to Today.com, professionals in this niche can make up to $10,000 a month before sponsorship deals. However, Jade decided that this type of work was not for her and stepped away.
Another Bizarre Request
Jade also shared another strange client story involving a man she called "Barry." He became fixated on her surgically enhanced butt, the result of a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL). When the size of her butt changed after a lifestyle shift, Barry sent her a frantic, distressed message, expressing his dismay over the alteration.
