New Brunswick RCMP have laid charges against a Moncton man in connection with child sexual abuse materials. The investigation, led by the RCMP's Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) unit, resulted in the arrest of the individual on June 11, 2026.

Details of the Charges

The accused faces multiple counts, including possession of child pornography and distribution of child sexual abuse materials. Police executed a search warrant at a residence in Moncton, seizing electronic devices for forensic analysis.

According to RCMP officials, the investigation began after a tip from the National Child Exploitation Crime Centre (NCECC). The accused has been released on conditions pending a court appearance scheduled for July 2026.

Police Statement

"The exploitation of children is a serious crime, and the RCMP is committed to identifying and apprehending those who engage in these activities," said Sergeant John Doe of the New Brunswick RCMP. "We urge anyone with information to come forward."
