Calgary residents anxious over recycling plant garbage, dust

Residents in southeast Calgary are expressing growing anxiety over a massive pile of garbage and dust emanating from the Ecco Recycling facility. The pile, visible in a parking lot adjacent to the plant, has raised concerns about health and environmental impacts.

City orders ignored?

According to local residents, the City of Calgary had instructed the facility to cease operations, but the plant continues to accept materials. This has led to frustration and fears that the situation may worsen.

'It can't be good for us,' said one resident, who requested anonymity. 'We see the dust blowing into our yards, and the smell is unbearable at times.'
