Brunswick Exploration Doubles Extent of Lithium Corridor at Nuuk Project
Brunswick Exploration Doubles Lithium Corridor at Nuuk Project

Brunswick Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: BRW, OTCQB: BRWXF; FRANKFURT:1XQ) has announced a significant expansion of the spodumene-bearing corridor at its Nuuk Lithium project near Nuuk, Greenland. The confirmation of an additional spodumene-bearing pegmatite over three kilometers from the initial discovery zone has nearly doubled the scale and width of the mineralized system.

Expansion Details

The newly discovered pegmatite extends the corridor to approximately four kilometers by one kilometer. This compares to the company's Mirage project, which has a corridor of lithium-bearing pegmatites measuring roughly six by three kilometers. The expansion highlights the growing scale of the Nuuk Lithium project and underscores the lithium potential in Greenland.

Killian Charles, President and CEO of BRW, commented: “The growing scale of the Nuuk Lithium project highlights the lithium potential in Greenland. Next steps, including drilling, are currently being evaluated in conjunction with the return of drilling at Mirage and an anticipated Anatacau fall drilling campaign. In addition, our team will embark on a maiden prospecting program on our East Greenland Portfolio starting mid-July.”

Ivisaartoq Pegmatite Field

The new LCT pegmatite returned anomalously low K/Rb ratios, but spodumene was not immediately identified in the field. A sample was collected for further analysis, and thin section analysis rapidly confirmed the presence of spodumene. Brunswick Exploration awaits results from another potential target that could further expand the corridor of lithium mineralization.

To date, a total of nine spodumene-bearing pegmatites have been discovered in the Ivisaartoq field, measuring up to 400 meters in length and 40 meters in width, with up to 50% visual spodumene. These discoveries were previously reported in releases dated October 30, 2024, and August 12, 2025.

East Greenland Campaign

Brunswick Exploration will complete helicopter-supported prospecting and mapping throughout the East Greenland portfolio starting in mid-July, covering the Hinks, Clavering, and Hudson licences. The entire eastern coast of Greenland has never been prospected for lithium, providing a significant first-mover advantage for the company.

Charles added: “As lithium markets and fundamentals gain momentum, we believe that Greenland remains one of the most exciting and underexplored jurisdictions with significant critical mineral endowment globally. With first-mover advantage, Brunswick Exploration is the only company exploring for lithium in the country.”

Impact and Next Steps

The expansion of the Nuuk Lithium corridor reinforces the company's position in Greenland's emerging lithium sector. Drilling plans are being evaluated alongside activities at other projects, including Mirage and Anatacau. The upcoming East Greenland prospecting program aims to identify new lithium targets in previously unexplored regions.
