Edmonton residents should soak up the sunshine today, as another soggy weekend is on the way. Meteorologist Josh Classen of CTV News Edmonton reports that June 26 will be mostly sunny with a high near 22°C, but clouds and rain are expected to move in by Saturday afternoon.

Saturday will start with increasing cloudiness, and showers are likely by late afternoon or evening. Sunday will bring more rain, with a 70% chance of precipitation and highs around 18°C. Classen advises residents to enjoy the dry conditions Thursday and Friday, as the wet pattern returns for the weekend.
The soggy weather follows a pattern of above-average rainfall this June. Edmonton has already received 85 mm of rain this month, compared to the June average of 73 mm. The upcoming rain could push totals further above normal.
